چکیده

Two cholinesterases have been found in vertebrates, acetylcholinesterase (AChE) and butyrylcholinesterase (BChE). These enzymes are present the gilthead seabream, AChE brain muscle BChE muscle. Cholinesterases used as biomarker of effect environmental monitoring studies. However, there few studies about influence biometric parameters on ChE. This paper possible biological factors cholinesterase (ChE) Sparus aurata. Our results show that ChE activity tissues changes depending several variables. these decreased when age (48–152 week), body length (14.15–28.95 cm) weight (42.73–380.74 g) fishes studied increased. The relationships between were curvilinear. On other hand, vivo sensitivity seabream exposed to organophosphorus pesticides (azinphosmethyl, dimethoate dichlorvos) was order learn recovery from (brain muscle) after exposure a sublethal dose. similar cerebral AChE, while muscular showed slower recovery.

Histopathological alterations, EROD activity, CYP1A protein and biliary metabolites in gilthead seabream Sparus aurata exposed to benzo(a)pyrene.

This study compared for seabream, Sparus aurata exposed to benzo(a)pyrene-B(a)P-, the response of molecular cytochrome P450 1A (CYP1A) and cellular histopathology biomarkers. Male gilthead seabream, Sparus aurata specimens were exposed for 20 days via water to a series of high B(a)P concentrations. CYP1A was assessed by measuring enzymatic activity (EROD) and CYP1A protein content, and cellular...

Detection of vanA-Containing Enterococcus Species in Faecal Microbiota of Gilthead Seabream (Sparus aurata)

Vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus faecalis, E. faecium and E. durans isolates with the genotype vanA were detected in 7 of 118 faecal samples (5.9%) of natural gilthead seabream recovered off the coast of Portugal, and one vancomycin-resistant isolate/sample was further characterized. The genes erm(B), tet(L), tet(M), aac(6')-aph(2"), aph(3')-IIIa and/or ant(6)-Ia were identified in most of the...

Feeding time synchronises daily rhythms of behaviour and digestive physiology in Gilthead seabream (Sparus aurata)

Feeding cycles entrain biological rhythms, which enabling animals to anticipate feeding times and so maximize food utilization. In this article the effect of mealtime on locomotor activity, blood glucose, gastric pH and digestive enzymes was studied in two groups of seabream (Sparus aurata): one group received a single daily meal at random times either during the light and the dark period (rand...

Environmental Conditioning of Skeletal Anomalies Typology and Frequency in Gilthead Seabream (Sparus aurata L., 1758) Juveniles

In this paper, 981 reared juveniles of gilthead seabream (Sparus aurata) were analysed, 721 of which were from a commercial hatchery located in Northern Italy (Venice, Italy) and 260 from the Hellenic Center for Marine Research (Crete, Greece). These individuals were from 4 different egg batches, for a total of 10 different lots. Each egg batch was split into two lots after hatching, and reared...
